Do a "Dollop" of Daisy!!!!!

Writer: lesleyescobarlesleyescobar

We are always looking for added flavor to enhance some of our favorite dishes to make them that much more enjoyable. Sour Cream is definitely unrated!!! And most of all many of our clients don't realize this is an option. We approve BOTH Regular and Light Sour Cream. Look at your labels and make sure they are in line with the numbers reflected on your meal plan. Sour cream is NOT considered a condiment - this item will have to be incorporated in your meal plan to give you an accurate count - Sour Cream is considered a Fat.

Numbers to look at: PER SERVING - Serving Size - (1 Tablespoon / 15 grams)

  • Calories 30 Calories per serving or less

  • 3 Grams of Fat per serving or less

  • Sodium will be very minimal

Ideas on how to use Sour Cream:

  • Nachos

  • Enchiladas

  • Tacos

  • Quesadillas

  • Frito Pie

  • Taco Salad

Suggestion / Helpful Tip:

I always get the squeeze container to ensure you are most accurate on your serving sizes while adding it to you meals, plus you don't have dirty flatware :)
