Waffles for breakfast - yes please! Most of us eat on the run when it comes to breakfast...AND we definitely want something not only satisfying but something that is quick and easy.
Everyone has their own way of preparing the quick and easy waffle sandwich in the morning,you know the drill. Here are two options on how you can dress up those amazing waffles to make them even more AMAZING (if that is even possible). If your waffles don't already look like this ---- then they should start to!!! haha! Thank us later!!!!
Nutri-Grain Blueberry Waffles (2)
PB2 (Almond Butter or Peanut Butter - per your meal plan)
Strawberries (1 cup or 1/2 cup - per your meal plan)
Nutri-Grain Whole Grain Waffles (2)
Blueberry Compote (recipe listed below)
Blueberries (1 cup or 1/2 cup - per your meal plan)
1/4 Cup of Water
3 Packets of Stevia in the Raw
Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional)
Combine ALL ingredients in a saucepan on the stove top until they come to a boil
Let it simmer until it thickens to your desired consistency
Then serve and enjoy!!!!
Helpful Hint -Give your waffles a couple good sprays of "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" before putting them into the toaster oven to crisp them up
